The Profitable Thought Leader program is for coaches and consultants who want to build powerful, profitable thought leadership platforms to support their coaching or consulting business. Here are a few specific characteristics of the right-fit candidate for the BETA:

• You are very good at what you do and create results and transformation for your clients already
• That means that you are already selling your services in some form, physically or digitally 
• You have distinct ideas, thoughts, frameworks and methods that you use in your coaching and consulting 
• You are ready to turn up your influence and impact by growing your audience and spreading your thought leadership 
• You don't have a well-oiled marketing and lead generation engine: So far, word-of-mouth, referrals and sporadic marketing initiatives and opportunities have kept things going and growing. 
• You really want to set up a blog, YouTube channel, podcast or other form of long-form content to start sharing your experience and expertise 
• You have tried a bunch of marketing tactics and programs, but nothing has really stuck 
• You want to grow your brand as a speaker and/or author 
• You want the right clients to come and seek you out because they discovered you through one of your thought leadership channels

This program is not for an aspiring coach or consultant who is just getting started and has not really developed the experience, expertise or a proven set of results with their clients. If you feel like you might fall into this group but REALLY want to be on the program, book a call with me to discuss your options. This program is not for you if:

• You are looking for a QUICK way to fill up your next program 
• You are looking to get some clients or cash coming in to solve a current money crunch 
• You are looking to become an Instagram star 
• You are looking to become a published author (A solid thought leadership platform will create this opportunity for you, but this is not a program about writing a book) 
• You are averse to the powers of the Internet and Social Media and keep wanting to go back to the 'Good Ol' Days' before this stuff happened 
• You are extremely time poor and already working 60 hour weeks to keep your head above the water. Creating great content and building influence will take sometime from you every day, every week. 
• You're a short-game player in it for quick wins (There WILL be some immediate results, but thought leadership is a long-game strategy for long-game players) 
• You are the CEO of a tech company, an eCommerce company or a physical product company. You can still build a great thought leadership brand, but the strategies in this program are aimed specifically at coaches and consultants with knowledge or service-based businesses.

We'll be going through the step-by-step process to help you build your Profitable Thought Leadership business and brand. A big part of the program is doing this work in a specific, strategic sequence. The modules are based on that proven, tested, effective sequence. 

Module 1: Your What and Your Who - What are you here to do and for whom? Working from total clarity. 

Module 2: Your Business and Marketing Goals - Build Your Million-Dollar Grid 

Module 3: Your Body of Thought: Shaping your distinct ideas, frameworks, and main messages. 

Module 4: Your Body of Content - Identifying and learning about your one main social media channel 

Module 5: Strategic Digital Presence - Identifying your best long-form content format and getting it started 

Module 6: Your Paths to Purchase - Where are your people? How to find them, connect with them, and effortlessly guide them toward your work 

Module 7: Your Brand & Voice - Define your brand, show up and speak up with authenticity and confidence 

Module 8:  Your O.P.P. Strategy - Use strategic organic outreach to identify publications, podcasts, YouTube channels and other 'Other People's Platforms (O.P.P.) to reach more relevant audiences and spread your work. 

Module 9: Your Digital HQ - Your website - the one place on the Internet where you bring all of this together, have total control over your audience and reach. NOT a social media platform - that is building your empire on borrowed land. 

The program will be delivered over 24 weeks via virtual live training sessions over Zoom. We'll have ONE Active Training Session every fortnight, delivered live over Zoom, and every 'non-training' week, the PTL team will host a Work Huddle - a virtual co-working session to ensure that you have time on the calendar to implement the strategies you cover in the Active Training sessions. 

The Active Training sessions will last 75 to 90 minutes every week, while the work huddles are 120 minutes long. 

Most group coaching programs and online courses fall short on the implementation bit. The work huddles are designed to counter that tendency to 'learn' but not 'DO' the doing that fuels real business growth.

Nothing is mandatory. You're a grown-up ;) But I won't lie to make this sound convenient: You will benefit most from being in all or at least most of the sessions live. That said, all the Active Training sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the portal. You will have access to this portal as long as the program exists, for ALL future iterations. You can join all future trainings Live too. Essentially, as long as I am delivering and building this program (which I intend to do for a LONG time, you will have access to it all. I'm only not saying 'forever' because I don't want to jinx it.)

The Work Huddles are there to support you. They are not mandatory to attend either, but I'll let you take a call here: Do you struggle with implementation? Have you been on courses and programs and not actually DONE the work? If that is you, then you will benefit most from being the work huddles and social-working. When you see others, bums in seats, working in their little Zoom windows, you'll feel more compelled to do it.

The Live Training sessions will be delivered over 24 weeks. You are very welcome to join the next round of Active Training as well and continue implementing your learnings from the program as you go along. As a result of what you learn here, you are going to be shifting your business model, creating new service packages and offers, deploying new marketing strategies, and implementing new sales approaches. These things do not happen overnight, but they DO happen when you approach them systematically, strategically, and with the right support and accountability in place :) Our clients with the best, most transformative results attend multiple rounds of PTL, and grow and learn from every round. 

I completely understand that you're probably signing up with an already-full plate. You're concerned if you can fit this in and more importantly, do justice to or make the most of what the program has to offer.

I'll lay out some realistic numbers for you.

Active Training Sessions: 60-90 minutes, 2x per month for the next 4.5 months (Consider these success-critical)

Work Huddles: 120 minutes, 2x per month for 4.5 months (Optional, but success-critical for some)

Own Input: 2-3 hours per week minimum. Please be warned: This work can create MASSIVE results, but it is work and is definitely time-consuming. You are creating something that is worth other people's time. You are asking others to pay you hundreds of minutes and hours of attention,collectively. You're going to need to give something to get something here. This program is not for you if you cannot make this a priority or if you are impatient or if you're after quick social media growth strategies. 

I'm sure that there are ways to build a thought leadership platform right out the gates, before you've even had your first client, but Profitable Thought Leader is not the right place for you to be in that case.

This program is most effective if you have been in business for a significant amount of time (2 to 15+ years) and have successfully served clients and created results.

No marketing strategy is perfect right from the start, so there will absolutely be 'trial and error' involved. That said, you will not be asked to share or say anything with which you are not comfortable.

We do NOT teach posting tactics and channel-specific strategies, so I won't ask you to 'dance and point' on Instagram reels either. The work we do will help you identify and figure out platforms, channels, formats and messages that work for you and your body of work. Your approach will be extremely individualized, personal, and fitted to your audience. Because our group will be limited to 15 at the most, you can expect plenty of personalized brainstorming and guidance on your specific strategies and ideas.

We create case studies and success cases of some of our best alumni. I will discuss what and how much you want to share and only publish something that feels right and comfortable for you. You might prefer just putting out a testimonial of your experience - that is fine, too.

Your assignments will be the actual work of building your thought leadership platform. Your assignments will include completing strategy documents, planning templates, launching your content platform and releasing regular content. By the end of the program (18 weeks from start date), you will have your thought leadership engine up and running. And I'm only doing the strategic guidance and training to help you get it going - the rest is all you. This is a hands-on program. To get the results, you will need to do the work!

I'm not going to sugar-coat this. If you want to establish yourself as a thought leader, you're going to need a medium to share your thoughts. Typically, this will be using the written word (book, articles, your blog, social media posts), audio form (podcast, LinkedIn audio events), video (video training, webinars, video content on social media) or speaking on stages (virtual or in-person). If none of these sounds like something you are willing to (get uncomfortable and) do, then you will struggle to build a personal brand and thought leadership platform.

We DO have some mindset training to help you overcome some of the blocks that have been preventing you from doing these things do far. We DO NOT have specific modules on how to speak or write, but I will share a list of trusted, proven resources and trainers who can help you hone those skills.

We can work around camera-shyness if you're willing to pick up one of the other mediums of influence, namely: the written word (book, articles, your blog, social media posts), audio form (podcast, LinkedIn audio events) or speaking on stages (virtual or in-person). If none of these sounds like something you are willing to (get uncomfortable and) do, then you will struggle to build a personal brand and thought leadership platform.

But if it's just the camera you don't like - worry not! There are many very successful thought leaders who only have audio podcasts and use written content to build their thought leadership and influence.

The key here is strategic, progressive practice and consistency - which you will learn in the program. 

If you are committed to building your thought leadership platform and fuelling your influence, income and impact, then I believe you can achieve absolutely anything. One of my clients was a single mother with 11 children and a full-time job, and she still managed to do eight weeks of one-on-one coaching and build her membership program to high-six-figures. She publishes content regularly and now gets invited to speak on stages worldwide too. She takes some of these opportunities and has the resources to hire three babysitters to take care of the kids :)

What I'm getting at is: You can if you think you can. Will it be challenging? Yes. Is the time commitment heavy? Yes, but it is scalable. A 100% effort will get you results quicker than an 80% effort, which will get you results quicker than a 50% effort. But no effort will mean that next year at this time, you'll be considering the fully paid version of this program or some other program to get to work on this vision.

I've been on the fence for a long time, and I can tell you, I've never had all the time in the world to work on my business and brand. I've made the time, just like you make the time for the important things in your life.

Yes, within the first 90 days of the program. However, I will request a call to explore your challenges and why you don't feel like the program is working for you. I will NOT convince you to stay on, but if I believe that I can help you turn this into a successful, enjoyable experience, I will share my thoughts with you.

Ah, yes, this ol' question. I'm going to make a big, bold statement here: PTL is not going to be that much different if you're inherently not an action-taker. I can design accountability systems and action-oriented assignments to the moon and back, but if your excuses are bigger than your drive to do this, you're not going to do it - plain and simple.

That said:

• I have worked against my own non-action demon for many years now and will be bringing ALL the coaching tools and materials that have helped me to the table to help you overcome inaction. 
• We have also specifically designed weekly virtual co-working Work Huddles so that you show up with others in the program and DO the work. 
• You will be in the 'hot seat' a few times during the Active Training, and you will benefit a LOT if you're actually doing the work. I'll keep reminding you of this, as will the success of the action-takers in the group. -
• I will be there to help you. During the program, you'll have a lot of personal time and attention from me, so if overwhelm or information overload has been your problem in the past, this is your chance to remedy that problem.

Most sessions will take place between 15:00 and 17:00 CET/Oslo time. If you can't make some of these sessions live, you can catch the recordings. Office Hours and Work Huddles happen on different days to Active Training sessions but typically take place in the same window, with a few exceptions.
